We’re winding down our third full day being home and we have all survived so far.  Mason, Bradley, and I have shared a lot of special times together, some trying times, and some flat out ridiculousness when we have been so tired that anything is funny.

One thing that we always get a good laugh at is our little glowbug.  Bradley has jaundice so he has to be on a photoblanket at least 18 hours a day.  Photoblanket=bright light to wear on his back which makes his clothing light up like a little glow bug.  He doesn’t seem to mind it and we get a good laugh out of it.  Hopefully his jaundice will clear up in the next few days and we can turn off our glowbug….but for now he is super cute (what’s new).

In other news, he is progressing well.  He only lost a few oz before he left the hospital.  Yesterday, he weighed as losing 0.5oz since being home, but today he had gained a whole oz.  We’ll fatten him up yet!  He has had a few minor health issues here and there making things a little more difficult, but overall is a happy, healthy baby that we are so blessed to have in our lives.

We are thankful for all the doctors who helped guide us to knowing that he needed to be delivered early.  We are thankful for all of our family and friends that prayed for our discernment in making the call.  We are thankful for all the support and love that has been poured out to the three of us this week.  There is so much to be thankful for!  May our gratitude help us glow just like sweet little Bradley.
